We are thankful for Mark’s excellent work and devotion to Indiana’s families. And, as much as we are thankful for Mark’s historical leadership and devotion, we are equally excited about the future and where God will take this organization under the passionate leadership of our new CEO, Tim Smith. God has guided Lasting Change for over 50 years, and we have never been better positioned to help more families than we are right now.”

“I believe God brought Tim here; I am personally very excited about this CEO transition. I am confident that in my new role with the organization, I will help Lasting Change fulfill our vision as the national leader in restoring individuals, families, and communities.”

While addressing the organization, Smith stated:

“I am humbled and excited to move into the CEO role. I have a deep personal passion for the work we do to bring hope. Lasting Change has seen massive growth in a small amount of time, but we’ve only just begun.”

Effective January 1, 2022, Tim Smith assumed the role of CEO. Our Board of Directors and all of our leaders are confident this change will bring tremendous growth opportunities as Lasting Change continues to bring hope to individuals, families, and communities.
